My name is Agnieszka Wajda-Hänninen. I’m a Polish painter currently living and working in Finland.

I grew up in the peaceful, hilly landscape of southeastern Poland, where nature has always been a close companion and a deep source of inspiration. This connection continues to guide how I see the world and how I create my paintings.

My work is inspired by impressions of nature — not exact copies, but moments of light, mood, and feeling. I work mostly with oil paints, acrylics, and soft pastels, layering colors and textures to create landscapes that live somewhere between memory and direct observation.

Painting is part of my everyday life. My works grow from observing nature firsthand and from memory. I often paint outdoors, letting the natural light and atmosphere guide me.

I am proud to be a member of the Finnish Painters’ Union.
