My name is Agnieszka Wajda-Hänninen. I’m a Polish painter living and working in Finland. I grew up in the peaceful, hilly landscape of southeastern Poland, where nature has always been a close companion and a deep source of inspiration. This connection continues to shape the way I see the world and the way I paint.

My work is inspired by impressions of nature — moments of light, mood, and feeling rather than direct representation. I work mainly with oil paints, acrylics, and soft pastels, layering colors and textures to capture the subtle harmony between memory and observation. Painting is part of my daily rhythm, often guided by the natural light and atmosphere when I paint outdoors.
